The Wise Center is home to the Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. As the College’s main campus and home to its physical plant, this 403,000 square-foot facility encompasses more than 10 acres located on the southwest side of the MSU campus. The Wise Center campus adjoins the University’s South Farm properties, where much of the College’s large animal field practice training and instruction occurs. The Wise Center is comprised of an educational/instruction wing, research wing, and the College’s main teaching hospital, the Animal Health Center, where our third- and fourth-year students gain the bulk of their clinical experience.
In addition to these three main areas for learning and research, the Wise Center also offers a large cafeteria, dining area and courtyard for the convenience of faculty, staff and students, as well as several accommodating areas for students to gather and socialize or study.
Future plans for expansion and renovation call for a fitness facility, childcare area and other such amenities.
