The Diagnostic Laboratory System is composed of four laboratories that are administratively housed within the College’s Department of Pathobiology & Population Medicine.
The network is comprised of these four laboratories:
- CVM Diagnostic and Aquatic Lab
- Mississippi Veterinary Research and Diagnostic Lab
- Poultry Research and Diagnostic Lab
- Aquatic Research and Diagnostic Lab
These essential services are provided: microbiology, anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, molecular diagnostics, serology, and virology.
All 82 counties in the state are served by the system, which is fully accredited by the American Association of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosticians.
