- The American Veterinary Medical Association Council on Education last granted the College of Veterinary Medicine full accreditation in March of 2022.

AAHA
The Animal Health Center has been fully accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association since 1987. The AHC, Animal Emergency and Referral Center, and Veterinary Specialty Center were all evaluated in summer 2019 and all were granted full accreditation.
AAALAC
The College of Veterinary Medicine has maintained accreditation through the Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care (AAALAC) International since 1992.
AAVLD
The Mississippi Veterinary Research and Diagnostic Laboratory System, which consists of the CVM Diagnostic Laboratory at Mississippi State, MS; the MS Veterinary Research and Diagnostic Laboratory in Pearl, MS; the Poultry Research and Diagnostic Laboratory in Pearl, MS, and the Aquatic Research and Diagnostic Laboratory in Stoneville, MS, has maintained accreditation through the American Association of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosticians (AAVLD) since 2003. The last site visit of the laboratory system was in 2018 and full, five year accreditation through 2023 was granted by AAVLD.
